Qualifications

• Experience with surface preparation and industrial painting of equipment.
• Knowledge of paint types, mixing and color matching, and proper use of spray guns and other paint application tools.
• Understanding of shop safety practices, including PPE usage, ventilation requirements, chemical handling, and environmental compliance.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, basic instructions, and manufacturer guidelines related to coatings and finishes.
• Strong attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and ability to identify and correct paint defects or imperfections.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces and apply primers and finishes to equipment.
• Operate paint sprayers and finishing tools; ensure proper curing and drying.
• Inspect for defects and perform minor surface repairs as needed.
