Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Heavy Equipment Operator role located in Deming, NM. The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating a range of heavy machinery, such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and other equipment used in excavation and site preparation. Day-to-day tasks include digging, grading, trenching, moving materials, and assisting with layout and site set-up according to project plans and supervisor instructions. The role also involves conducting basic equipment inspections, reporting issues, and supporting routine maintenance to keep machinery in good working order. Operators are expected to follow safety protocols, coordinate with crew members, and help maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Ability to operate Heavy Equipment safely and efficiently, with experience in Equipment Operation on construction or excavation sites.
• Knowledge of Excavation practices, including trenching, grading, and earthmoving techniques.
