GFL Environmental is seeking a waste-management equipment operator in Oklahoma to bale and load waste onto trailers, perform daily maintenance, and ensure smooth operations at the site.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with the ability to obtain a Transfer Station/Landfill Operations Certification if required. This role involves outdoor work and exposure to heavy machinery in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired, but not required.
• Ability to obtain Transfer Station/Landfill Operations Certification if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to bale and load waste or material into trailers.
• Perform inspection and maintenance checks daily.
• Grease/lubricate equipment; check and add fluids daily.
• Operate equipment at assigned site with steering wheel, shifters, levers and pedals.
• Substitute for another operator as needed.
• Clean trash from tracks and gear as needed.
