Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Operator to operate equipment including blade, dozer, loader, crane, and more, while adhering to Mortenson safety policies and procedures.

You will perform routine maintenance, follow pre-task plans, and work with diverse teams to support project execution. This role requires one year of related experience, equipment certifications as needed, and a valid driver’s license. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Qualifications

• Equipment certifications as required.
• Minimum one year of related experience.
• Current driver’s license with necessary endorsements as required by law.
• Strong teamwork orientation and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and load charts.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as blade, dozer, loader, scraper, forklift/telehandler, crane, bobcat/skid-steer, boom lifts/aerial lifts, roller, backhoe, and track crane.
• Follow prescribed safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly worksite.
• Perform routine maintenance, observe equipment operation, and detect malfunctions.
• Follow work plans and pre-task cards.
• Build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
