Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Operator to operate equipment such as blade, dozer, loader, scraper, forklift/telehandler, crane, bobcat/skid-steer, and more in accordance with Mortenson safety policies. This role emphasizes adherence to rules, efficiency, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of related experience, valid driver’s license, ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance instructions, and the physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance when

Qualifications

• Equipment certifications as required.
• Minimum one year of related experience.
• Current driver's license with any endorsements as required by law.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and load charts.
• Ability to operate equipment and perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to work independently with good listening and communication.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as blade, dozer, loader, scraper, forklift/telehandler, crane, bobcat/skid-steer, aerial lifts, roller, backhoe, and track crane.
• Follow prescribed safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.
• Perform routine maintenance and monitor equipment condition.
• Follow work plans and pre-task cards.
• Build relationships across diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
