Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking an Operator to operate equipment such as blade, dozer, loader, scraper, forklift/telehandler, crane, bobcat, boom lifts, roller, backhoe, and track crane while following safety policies.

Responsibilities include maintaining safe work areas, performing routine maintenance, following pre-task plans, and collaborating with diverse teams across the project.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of related experience.
• Current driver's license with proper classification and endorsements as required by law.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and load charts.
• Strong teamwork orientation and professional customer service skills.
• Ability to operate equipment by moving levers, shifting gears, and steering wheels.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as blade, dozer, loader, scraper, forklift/telehandler, crane, bobcat/skid-steer, boom lifts/aerial lifts, roller, backhoe, and track crane.
• Follow prescribed safety regulations and maintain clear and orderly housekeeping.
• Perform routine maintenance, observe equipment operation, and detect malfunctions.
• Follow work plans and pre-task cards.
• Build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
