Job summary

XKIG in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking a Jarraff Operator to operate heavy equipment used to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines, ensuring safe, efficient work during daily utility vegetation management.

This full-time, on-site role requires prior heavy equipment experience, the ability to work outdoors in all weather, and compliance with safety, background, and drug screening requirements.

Qualifications

• Prior heavy equipment operating experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred
• Must possess physical strength and good balance to climb into and around mobile equipment
• Must be able to obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment as directed by Foreperson
• Assist in preparing equipment and materials for each day’s work at Foreperson’s direction
• Cleans up and disposes of all debris and sets up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers
• Keeps informed on new equipment, specifications, procedures, and company policies
• Perform duties for storm work as needed
