Job summary

PUSH Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate required equipment for fiber/cable installations and power utilities. You’ll assist with digging, setup, and basic labor while mentoring teammates in performing equipment operations.

Ideal candidates have field digging experience around utilities, knowledge of print reading, and the ability to train others. CDL is preferred; a strong safety record is essential.

Qualifications

• Field experience with digging around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Experience operating utility construction equipment (backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, track hoe).
• General knowledge of utility construction procedures and print reading.
• Valid Driver's License; Class A CDL preferred.
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings.
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Field experience with digging operations in rural and urban areas around utilities.
• Responsible for daily maintenance on construction equipment used.
• Operate equipment, including backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, or track hoe.
• Excavate around existing utilities.
• Provide training and assistance to co-workers learning to be operators.
• Perform routine labor (potholing, setup of equipment, conduit/duct/cable placement, set pedestals).
• Drive tow vehicle hauling equipment to and around job site.
• Assist with all aspects of the job including basic labor responsibilities.
