Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator (Driver License Required) in Winston-Salem, NC. This full-time, non-exempt role operates heavy equipment to clear vegetation from electrical lines and ensure reliable power delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment (bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks) to remove branches and material from lines.
• Transport equipment to multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, culverts and base.
• Use a chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Maintain and service trucks and equipment to keep them in order.
• Work around hazardous equipment and in varying weather with hearing protection.
