Job summary

Fisher Industries is seeking a qualified Heavy Equipment Operator to operate skid steers, loaders, dozers, crushers, and excavators per project specs. You will also be responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment daily along with ensuring safe operation on site.

The role requires willingness to travel, adherence to MSHA and company safety policies, and ability to perform pre‑shift inspections and routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Mechanical knowledge of equipment and ability to perform routine maintenance.
• Basic welding knowledge and ability to use a cutting torch.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely to meet production goals.
• Assist with plant setup and tear down.
• Perform general maintenance and repair on equipment as directed by supervisor.
• Keep equipment and plant areas clean and well‑organized daily.
• Lift up to 80 lb regularly and assist with material movement.
• Follow safety guidelines per MSHA and company policy.
• Perform pre‑shift inspections on equipment.
• Travel as required for job sites.
