Job summary

Orion is seeking an experienced equipment operator to move construction materials and operate earth-moving machinery on site in Charleston, SC. The role requires the ability to work 8-12 hour shifts, perform inspections, and support the Crew Supervisor to keep production on schedule.

The incumbent must follow safety policies, assist with basic repairs, and adhere to confidentiality requirements while contributing to a safe, efficient worksite.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience operating earth-moving equipment.
• Understanding of construction principles.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate earth-moving equipment and attachments.
• Perform pre- and post-shift inspections of equipment.
• Grease and maintain equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
• Report malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain and repair equipment as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and confidentiality.
