Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the US.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience in heavy equipment operation preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety procedures.
• Capable of performing physical tasks in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the facility according to scheduled hours of operation.
• Oversees truck dumping schedules and trailer switching.
• Maintains cleanliness of public transfer station areas according to daily/weekly/monthly schedules.
• Ensures customers use the transfer station safely and according to rules.
• Meets loading schedules to ensure drivers are ready to meet production.
• Directs incoming trucks to unloading areas safely and efficiently.
• Performs safety and equipment checks; reports issues to shop foreman.
• Participates in training and development to support company vision and values.
