Job summary

Wyo-Ben, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to work at Magnet Cove in Greybull. This full-time role involves operating scrapers, dozers, excavators, loaders, and other mining machinery safely on rotating shifts.

You will inspect equipment, load trucks, stockpile materials, and communicate updates during handoffs while maintaining clean, safe work areas. A valid driver's license and prior heavy equipment experience are required, with a strong safety mindset and dependability essential.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of plant, mining, construction, or heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and loaders.
• Basic mechanical aptitude, recordkeeping, and math skills.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment, loaders, feed hoppers, and other mining equipment safely and efficiently.
• Move, blend, stockpile, and recover ore and product materials.
• Load trucks and maintain stockpile, drainage, and work areas.
• Complete equipment inspections, fueling, load logs, and basic maintenance tasks.
• Communicate operational updates, hazards, and production changes during shift handoffs.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Report equipment, safety, and quality concerns to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
