Job summary

Qualifications

• Entry-level to senior progression across Level I–III.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required for Level I; CDL progression required by level.
• ICS 200/ICS 300 prerequisites for higher levels; Tanker endorsement required for B/A.

Responsibilities

• Level I: General road/grounds maintenance and light equipment operation.
• Level I: Assist with traffic control setup and flagging.
• Level II: Operate heavy equipment and perform complex road maintenance.
• Level II: Lead on small crews or specialized tasks under supervision.
• Level III: Act as lead or supervisor; oversee large projects and coordinate with other departments.
• Level III: Train and mentor less experienced workers; ensure safety and compliance.
