Responsibilities

• Constructs and maintains haul roads, loading ramps and drainage ditches.
• Operates a bulldozer equipped with a bulldozer blade on the rear, for stabilizing, in winching a specially-designed mat-pulling attachment when bank conditions require.
• Operates tractor in moving mooring cables, dragging equipment, and serving as temporary anchor for floating plant.
• Excavate earth to fine specifications from engineering stakes to determine degree/angle of fine grading.
• Systematically inspects, service tests, adjusts, and lubricates all equipment to maintains continuous service or ready for service.
• Assists general mechanical repairs, including major overhaul and reconditioning.
