Job summary

Army Recruiting Ohio is seeking construction engineers to operate bulldozers, graders and other heavy equipment for Army construction projects. No prior experience is required, but candidates must meet citizenship, age, health, and background requirements.

Responsibilities include operating heavy machinery, performing earthwork tasks, and supporting combat engineer missions. Benefits include housing, medical, and vacation time where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen or I-551 cardholder.
• Must be between the age of 17-34.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a criminal background check with no open law violations.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• No felony.
• Must currently be in good health with no physical limitations.

Responsibilities

• Drive bulldozers and road graders, as well as other heavy earth-moving equipment to clear and excavate.
• Use scrapers to cut and spread fill material, transport heavy construction equipment with tractor-trailers, and assist with combat engineer missions.
• Operate all-wheel vehicles and equipment over varied terrain and roadways.
