• Minimum four years of experience in heavy equipment operations.
• Rigging and flagging skills required.
• Pass Pala-Interstate Certification Exam requested.
• 20/30 and 20/50 Snellen vision with color and depth perception.
• OSHA required physical exam must be completed.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• NCCER or NCCCO certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate gasoline or diesel-powered heavy equipment to lift and move materials.
• Read and interpret job specs, plans, and blueprints; perform math calculations.
• Start and control engine, boom, and load line movements.
• Communicate via hand signals or radio with flagman for precise positioning.
• Read load charts and select appropriate slings and chokers using geometry.
