GeoConstructors specializes in design-build construction services for:

Position Summary

Operate one or multiple types of power construction equipment to excavate, move, and/or drill material. Travel may be required.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

1. Operate large heavy equipment, performing maintenance and repairs on roads and rights-of-way, including loading, hauling, and dumping on various surfaces.
2. Load gravel, dirt, and sand; grade roads; spread and dump rock and gravel.
3. Check and maintain fluid levels and lubrication of equipment.
4. Instruct and train employees in safe operation, tools, and techniques.
5. Inspect equipment and materials, identify issues, and take corrective actions.
6. Follow safety and project rules.
7. Inspect subordinate work for compliance, identify deficiencies, and provide corrective guidance.
8. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge and skills for the position.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with electrical, hand, power, layout, and measurement tools.

Requirements

• Meet all physical requirements.
• Ability to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces (may exceed 50 ft).
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Travel, work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.

Earnings Potential

Employees earn travel time, $50/day meal assistance, and paid hotel accommodations. The pay rate ranges from $22 to $29/hour based on experience, with overtime and travel time included. Typical weekly earnings are:

• $880 at $22/hour (40 hours)
• $330 overtime (10 hours at $33/hour)
• $110 travel time (5 hours)
• $240 per diem (6 nights away)

Total approximate annual earnings: $81,120 (excluding bonuses, medical subsidies, or retirement contributions).
