Job summary

Lhoist North America is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to operate and maintain all mobile equipment at the facility, support quarry/blasting tasks when needed, and assist with plant utilities and safety compliance.

The role requires passing an ATF background check, performing pre-shift inspections, and adhering to FSMA/SQF safety initiatives while contributing to production efficiency and quality control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 0-3 years of related experience; 1-3 years preferred.
• Must be able to pass ATF background check and safety trainings.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mobile equipment (loader, haul trucks, water truck, skid steer, backhoe, drill).
• Assist plant utility tasks including cleanup, shipping/loading, and inspections.
