Job summary

Lhoist North America invites you to join a role supporting daily quarry and rail operations, operating mobile equipment, and aiding drilling and blasting tasks. Must possess strong mechanical skills and the ability to work independently or in a team, with a willingness to work varying shifts and conditions.

Required is a high school diploma or GED, with preferred industrial/engineering systems background and supervisory experience. CDL may be beneficial for rail work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
• Industrial/Engineering Systems education or equivalent practical experience preferred.
• Experience in supervisory production roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate quarry and plant mobile equipment to meet safety, tonnage, quality and environmental targets.
• Assist in loading and stockpile management of dolostone and lime shipments.
• Coordinate with Rail Facility operations and communicate BNSF rail activities.
• Load and unload trucks; operate shuttlewagon and related equipment.
• Assist drilling and blasting activities and inventory management of explosives.
