Job summary

Qualifications

• Skill in machine operation, maintenance and safety around other individuals and machines.
• Must be capable of lifting 75 pounds, climbing 8-10 foot ladders to reach operator’s cab and sitting for long periods with coordinated pedal control.
• Active, mobile candidate able to operate machinery in rough pit and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely for efficient production in quarry settings.
• Perform pre-shift checks of oil, fluids, tires and general machine condition.
• Fuels, aids maintenance, and supports mechanics with routine repairs.
• Keep work area clean and report potential safety issues to supervision.
• Comply with MSHA rules and company safety policies.
