Adams Land and Cattle is seeking a self-motivated Heavy Equipment Operator for the South Lot in Broken Bow, Nebraska. The role involves operating loaders, dozers, graders and other heavy equipment to maintain pens and improve cattle living areas.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined with diesel equipment experience, capable of multi-tool operation, and committed to safety and quality. Benefits start Day 1, with a $2,500 signing bonus and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with working knowledge of large diesel powered equipment.
• Demonstrated skills in pen manure management and pen maintenance.
• Ability to learn and operate multiple equipment types to support the team.
• Proficient in routine and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborative, safety- and quality-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders, dump trucks, tractors, skid steers, dirt scrapers, graders and dozers safely.
• Pile manure, load/haul manure, drag scrape pens, repair bunkpads and vet pen areas.
• Execute maintenance to minimize costs and extend pen life.
• Maintain logs and daily activity sheets accurately.
• Adapt to weather and support storm recovery efforts.
