Job summary

Adams Land and Cattle, LLC in Broken Bow, Nebraska, is seeking a Farming Technician to join our production farming operation. You will help with planting, herbicide and insecticide applications, cultivation, irrigation, and harvest using our pivot systems and cloud-based controls.

You’ll assist in field maintenance and equipment upkeep, ensure accurate documentation of inputs, and support safety, quality, and environmental stewardship across our multi-location operations.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to exert 50–100 lbs occasionally and 25–50 lbs frequently.
• Occasionally stand, sit, walk, lift and bend; work in adverse weather.
• Strong communication, teamwork and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of production farming: planting, herbicide/insecticide application, cultivation and harvest.
• Operate and maintain irrigation systems and machinery.
• Accurately document seed corn, herbicide and insecticide usage for quality control.
• Assist with effluent pipeline and pumping records.
