Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a heavy equipment operator to run haul, pit, water, fork lift, stockpile, bin, and plant trucks at the Chesapeake, VA facility. You will perform pre/post shift inspections, assist with routine maintenance, and help keep the site safe and productive.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, ability to work overtime, and the stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Previous heavy equipment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate off-highway equipment including haul, pit, water, fork lift, stockpile, bin, and plant trucks.
• Perform pre- and post-shift inspections and complete reports.
• Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs under supervision.
• Maintain clean worksite and comply with safety rules.
