Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely operate a range of heavy equipment, including loaders, dozers, trenchers, and trucks, while ensuring proper cleaning, maintenance, and secure storage in line with company policies.

The role requires performing daily safety checks, operating equipment efficiently, and coordinating with the Foreman on maintenance needs. Outdoor, physically demanding work in varied weather is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have strong safety mindset and ability to operate multiple heavy machines.
• Experience operating loaders, dozers, trenchers, and trucks preferred.
• Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and report issues.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to minimize risk.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required.
• Ensure heavy equipment is safely stored after use.
• Advise Foreman of maintenance or repair needs.
• Participate in routine maintenance and practice workplace safety.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies.
