Job summary

Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) has an opening for a Dirt Equipment Operator at our Carthage, TX site. You will work with open pit mining equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and document hazards while supporting production targets.

You must be able to work in an industrial setting, meet physical requirements, and be willing to work all shifts up to 12 hours per day. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of experience operating heavy equipment in construction/mining.
• Ability to work in an industrial environment as described in the position.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the job (with or without accommodation).
• Ability to adhere to safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• Willing and able to work all shifts up to 12 hours per day, 7 days a week as needed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Operate heavy mobile equipment of various sizes and weights used in open pit mining.
• Perform minor service and maintenance on equipment.
• Identify and report potential job hazards per company policy.
• Collaborate with team to meet production, waste and quality goals.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment through general housekeeping.
