Job summary

Optimized Process Designs (OPD) is seeking a Forklift Operator for a project site in Carthage, TX. The role involves operating an extended-reach forklift to move materials, unload shipments, and stage items across the jobsite while adhering to safety practices.

You will travel to remote locations as needed and work up to 12 hours per day in a fast-paced construction environment. OPD emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliable attendance on site.

Qualifications

• At least 1.5 years of forklift operator experience.
• Willing to travel to remote areas as needed.
• Must attend mandatory safety meetings.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to work shifts up to 12 hours per day, 7 days a week.
• Must meet basic physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate an extended-reach forklift to transport materials within the jobsite.
• Transport pallets, boxes, pipe, and other large objects within the site.
• Interpret hand signals to determine material placement.
• Unloading material shipments and staging in designated areas.
