Job summary

The Walsh Group, Archer Western Construction seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Marana PII project in Marana, Arizona. Operate a variety of heavy machinery to build and maintain highways and civil structures while adhering to safety protocols and project specifications.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of operating experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather.
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of equipment to complete tasks such as clearing land and moving materials.
• Follows procedures for loading and unloading materials.
• May oil, grease, service and perform maintenance checks; complete safety checks and documentation.
• Performs other related duties as required.
