Job summary

Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to prepare job sites by operating multiple types of heavy equipment with or without GPS.

You will load, grade, and move dirt and materials to meet project specifications, while maintaining safety and efficiency under high-paced conditions. Applicants should have 4+ years of experience operating heavy equipment, be willing to perform laborer duties, and be available for overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of heavy equipment operating experience with multiple types of equipment.
• Willing to perform laborer work as required.
• Ability to work safely under time constraints in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate three or more types of heavy equipment (backhoe, bulldozer, excavator, etc.) to prepare job sites.
• Connect, adjust, and maneuver attachments and hydraulic components.
• Maintain equipment and perform daily checks; report usage hours.
• Work with GPS devices on dozers and graders if required.
• Follow safety standards and project instructions; work weekends/overtime as needed.
