The Caton Construction Group, part of The Caton Companies, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for a bridge/roadway project in North Carolina. Qualified candidates will have experience operating excavators and dozers and maintaining equipment daily.
Starting pay is competitive and based on skills and experience. Normal hours are Monday–Friday, with potential long days and travel as needed. CDL preferred but not required.

The heavy equipment operator operates a variety of contractor equipment and properly maintains the equipment on a daily basis.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
This is a full‑time position. Normal days and hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with time provided for lunch. Hours may vary and may include long hours and weekend work. The position may require local or out‑of‑town travel with overnight stays.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out‑of‑area and overnight travel may be expected. A driver’s license is required.
Employment is conditional upon satisfactorily completing all pre‑employment requirements, including a background and drug screen. Starting wages depend on skills and experience.
