Job summary

US Aggregates is seeking an Equipment Operator/Laborer at our Indiana operations to maintain production, safety, and quality. You will operate heavy equipment, perform routine maintenance, document activities, and adhere to safety guidelines while supporting plant operations.

The role requires regular attendance, ability to read and communicate in English, basic math, and a willingness to participate in ongoing safety training and certifications.

Qualifications

• Must maintain regular, dependable attendance.
• Read, write, and communicate in English and understand basic math.
• Follow written and verbal directions to complete tasks.
• Understand safety policies and operating principles.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Ability to work with a team and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Operate, service, and maintain heavy equipment including frontend loaders, off-road dump trucks, skid steers, and more.
• Fuel, oil, grease equipment and follow the safety manual.
• Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift checks and maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and reports as directed.
• Participate in safety trainings and complete written examinations as required.
• Follow all safety rules around tracks, equipment and facility.
