Job description

Horton Electrical Services, LLC & Squirrel Enterprises, Inc. are looking to hire full-time Construction Equipment Operators and Laborers. Are you an experienced equipment operator or laborer who enjoys working in an interesting environment with a focus on quality work and client satisfaction? Do you like to be out of the machine helping your teammates get the job done? If so, please read on!

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Require a valid and clean Driver’s License.
2. High School Diploma or GED required.
3. Require a valid OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
4. 2+ years of field experience operating heavy equipment for operators.
5. Ability to perform physical labor and other physically strenuous tasks.
6. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. without limitations.
7. Leadership qualities.
8. Be able to be an independent thinker and work as a part of a team.
9. Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
10. Willingness to travel to various job sites within the State of Connecticut.
11. Must be punctual, reliable and possess excellent work ethic.
12. Safety-conscious work environment.
13. All positions require physical labor, positive attitude, and willingness to follow our safety policies.
14. Applicants must pass a Pre-Employment Health Performance Exam and pre-hire drug and alcohol testing prior to starting.
15. Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States and able to commute to and from work locations.

This full-time position is Monday – Friday.

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND MOTIVATION.
