Crowder Construction Company seeks an experienced heavy equipment operator to join our Southeast-based team. You will operate multiple machines, dig trenches, and support utility installations across projects such as bridges and water facilities.

The role requires at least five years of safe operating experience, strong safety discipline, and the ability to travel to multi-site locations as project needs arise. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and long-term career opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment (dump truck, loader, trackhoe, backhoe, water truck, bulldozer).
• Dig trenches, excavations, and move materials; construct ditches for utilities.
• Perform minor repairs and daily checks to equipment.
• Maintain proper fluid levels and lubrication; ensure equipment readiness.
• Assist other crafts when equipment is idle.

  • Must haveown transportation to and from jobsite every work day (driver's license not required)
  • May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities)

Primary Function: Operates heavy equipment including, but not limited to, off-roadtruck, loader, trackhoe, backhoe, water truck and bulldozer.

Typical Duties include but are not limited to:

• Operate a variety of vehicles and large heavy equipment digging trenches, excavations, pushing direct and moving material.
• Trench and construct ditches for installation of culverts, water pipes and sewer pipes; remove silt and debris.
• Make minor repairs and adjustments to equipment while in the field.
• Knowledgeable of equipment in respect to checking and maintaining all fluid levels and lubrication.
• Assist other crafts when equipment is not in use.

• In some cases, may need the ability to read engineering drawings
