City of Lubbock seeks an experienced equipment operator to operate and service heavy machinery used in water and wastewater projects. You will handle backhoes, dump trucks, loaders, excavators, and related equipment, adhering to safety standards and work orders.
A high school diploma or GED and a Texas CDL Class A are required, plus a physical exam. The role involves lifting, climbing, and performing field repairs as needed.
Operates and services the heavier types of construction equipment such as backhoe (greater than 5 feet), dump truck, front end loader, skid steer, excavator, valve truck, volumetric concrete mixer, haul truck and other construction equipment of comparable size and complexity.
Completion of a high school diploma or the equivalent with an additional 2 year of progressive experience on any of the required equipment listed on this job description; or any combination of relevant education and experience which provides the following:
Texas Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A Driver's License
