Job summary

Brevard County is seeking a skilled maintenance worker to operate moderately complex automotive vehicles and equipment and perform routine maintenance. The role is based in the South Area/Palm Bay with a schedule of Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., potentially including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications include at least one year of relevant experience and a valid Florida Class B CDL. The position requires outdoor, heavy physical work and readiness for emergency duties during

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience operating moderately complex automotive vehicles and equipment such as ten-wheel dump trucks and mowing equipment.
• Experience in road drainage and sidewalk infrastructure maintenance is preferred.
• Work management system experience including open/close work orders and photo documentation preferred.
