Louisiana Bridge Builders is seeking a Backhoe/Excavator/Trackhoe Operator II to support the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge project in Lake Charles, LA. You will operate heavy machinery to dig trenches, foundations, and remove debris while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires 3+ years of experience and a willingness to work overtime, with relocation assistance offered if needed. LBB provides benefits including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant, proven experience operating construction equipment.
• NCCER Certification is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to dig trenches, foundations, or move materials such as dirt or rocks.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections.
• Conduct basic routine operator maintenance, lubrication, and fueling of equipment.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew members using hand or audio signals.
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently; perform other duties as assigned.
