Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a heavy equipment operator.
• Valid Texas CDL Class A or B.
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing required.

Responsibilities

• Operate backhoe, graders, and loaders to install, replace, and maintain streets and water lines.
• Cut and fit pipes above or below ground to specifications; install or replace manholes and valves.
• Raise, lower, or move water lines as needed.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment and tools; wash, oil changes, greasing.
• Operate front end loader to pick up debris during construction; assist digging and other labor.
