Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• SC Class A CDL with air brake endorsement required.
• Minimum one year of Equipment Operator experience.
• Certifications or licenses related to duties preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of safety practices and PPE for the tasks performed.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment limited to specific varieties such as forklifts, skid-steers, dump trucks, backhoes, and tractors.
• Inspects and performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Oversees hauling, loading, unloading, and installation of project-related materials.
• Maintains grounds tools and equipment in safe operating condition.
• Responds to emergencies and performs repairs as needed.
• Coordinates work with Facilities maintenance team and vendors.
