Qualifications

• Two years of experience driving heavy equipment or a CDL-A with one year operating heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must obtain a TWIC card within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to operate large forklifts/top loader/empty handler and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates Mule, 52 Forklift, Top Loader and Empty Handler to organize and transport cargo to staging areas for vessels and rail operations.
• Receives and updates container movement information via handheld device or computer.
• Moves and stages containers for Agriculture Inspection and X-Ray requirements.
• Maintains yard organization, safety, and timely communication of delays to company personnel.
