Marine Heavy Equipment Operators - Stevedoring - Brownsville, TX

Gulf Stream Marine is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for their stevedoring operations in Brownsville, Texas. Operators will handle high-capacity equipment to move heavy lift and over-dimensional cargo in marine terminal and port environments. This senior-level role is ideal for candidates with extensive experience in operating large forklifts and other heavy machinery, who are committed to safety and operational excellence.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating high-capacity equipment and/or driving mule jockeys or tractor-trailers
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• TWIC card required in hand
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Strong initiative, independent judgment, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Ability to pass physical and/or DOT screening and other applicable tests
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 55 pounds
