Heavy Equipment Operator - Haul Truck Driver (Marshall Steam Station)

Pay Rate:

$18.39 - $24.87 / hour

*Higher starting pay with relevant experience.

Schedule

• Full time (40+ hours / week)
• Rolling 4 days on 4 days off (weekends included)
• Overtime opportunities available

Job Summary:

Articulated/Dump / Water Truck

• Operates off-road dump or water truck.
• Pulls levers or turns crank to tilt body and dump contents such as coal, sand, soil, rock, industrial byproducts, or other similar materials.
• Move hand and foot controls to move truck forward and backward.
• Meets all aspects of safe driving according to our safety guidelines.

Essential Functions:

• Operate dump truck and/or water truck.
• Perform routine inspection of assigned equipment.
• Follow safe dumping procedures.
• Perform all duties in conformance to safety standards.
• May perform other duties as assigned by the superintendent.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Experience:

• Drivers with 3+ years of operating experience are preferred.

Education/ Certifications:

• Heavy equipment certifications are a plus.

Other Information:

• Ability to climb and operate heavy equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in an outdoors construction environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug test (including THC), must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check, must be able to pass a Background Check.
