Job Description - Heavy Equipment Operator - Haul Truck (2500013N)

What You’ll Do:

1. Promote Safety: Prioritize safety in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, actively ensuring safety for yourself and others at all times.
2. Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate off-highway equipment to transport raw materials and finished products within the facility.
3. Inspect Equipment: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete accurate daily reports and documentation.
4. Maintain Equipment: Ensure equipment performance by checking fluid levels and assisting with minor maintenance tasks.
5. Monitor Operations: Oversee plant processes and report any maintenance or adjustments needed to maintain safety and efficiency.
6. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills You’ll Need:

• Experience: Prior experience operating heavy construction equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Understanding of principles of operating and servicing heavy equipment is preferred.
• Flexibility: Willing to work overtime, extended hours, outdoors in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
