Position Details:

We have an immediate opening for a Heavy Equipment Operator/Groundsperson in Salem to Eugene at various locations in the Willamette Valley, OR.

Hours: Typically 6:00am to 6:00pm, but hours may vary depending on workload. Overtime & Saturdays may be required. Position closes on 12/31/25.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Safely operate various heavy equipment including front end loaders, dozers, excavators, graders, water trucks, and pit haul trucks.
  2. Maintain own equipment.
  3. Assist in yard maintenance and crusher operations as needed.
  4. Ensure all safety equipment is in place and used properly.
  5. Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
  6. Work safely and proactively prevent unsafe actions, behaviors, and processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Experience in the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment.
  2. Basic knowledge of crusher operation, conveyor systems, and maintenance.
  3. Preferred skills include mechanical troubleshooting, welding, and fabrication.
  4. Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and ability to follow directions.
