Mission

Reeves Construction Company is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator based in Brunswick, GA. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety and operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities

• Must have basic knowledge of machinery mechanics and hydraulics.
• Conduct inspection checklists for equipment such as lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water.
• Maintain equipment through servicing and lubrication, ensuring good housekeeping.
• Understand control levers for bucket movement.
• Prioritize safety for workers during pipelaying operations.
• Have basic knowledge of soil types.
• Operate vehicles safely and follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications, Education, and Competencies

Qualifications: Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience or training; or equivalent.

Language Skills: Ability to read, interpret safety and operation manuals, and write routine reports.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
