Kenny Seng Construction, Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Provo field team. You will safely operate a variety of heavy machinery and help prepare job sites in a fast-paced environment.

You must read blueprints, use GPS machine control, and maintain equipment records. We offer a $500 hire-on bonus, competitive benefits, and opportunities for growth with a locally trusted civil contractor.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Heavy Equipment Operator in construction.
• Experience with GPS machine control and the ability to read blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes.
• Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred and ability to pass pre-employment/random drug tests.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy machinery safely (excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, backhoes, scrapers).
• Prepare sites by clearing, leveling, and distributing earth per project specs.
• Use GPS-based machine control to ensure grade accuracy.
• Perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance; troubleshoot fleet issues.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance.
• Collaborate with supervisors and crew to meet timelines and goals.
