Job summary

US Aggregates is seeking an Equipment Operator/Laborer to maintain production, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety and quality across the plant operations. You will operate heavy equipment including front-end loaders, haul trucks, skid steers, and other mobile equipment, while keeping records and adhering to safety rules.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma, strong teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to follow directions and complete documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand safety manuals.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Welding, torching and maintenance skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, service, and maintain heavy equipment to keep plant in production.
• Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift checks and maintenance on equipment.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Follow safety rules, PPE requirements, and company policies.
• Participate in safety and job briefings as required.
