Job summary

Asgard Resources is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator/Loader Operator to operate loaders, dozers and other heavy equipment at our Bainville, MT site. You will move sand and materials, assist with production, and help keep equipment running safely in an outdoor mining environment.

The role requires daily inspections, potential minor maintenance, and the ability to work 8- to 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience operating loaders or heavy equipment.
• Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders, dozers, and other heavy equipment to move sand and materials.
• Load and move sand throughout the site and assist with production operations.
• Feed plant hoppers and manage stockpiles; perform daily equipment inspections.
• Support maintenance tasks and keep areas safe, clean, and organized.
• Follow MSHA safety procedures and coordinate with plant operators and supervisors.

Pay: $20-$30/hr. DOE

Schedule: Full-Time | Overtime Available (typically 5-6 days/week, 12-hour shifts)

About the Role

Asgard Resources is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators to operate loaders, dozers, and other equipment at our frac sand mining and processing facility in Bainville, MT.

Operators move sand and materials throughout the site, assist with production operations, and help keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on position working with large equipment in an outdoor mining environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders, dozers, and other heavy equipment
• Load and move sand and materials around the site
• Feed plant hoppers and manage stockpiles
• Perform daily equipment inspections
• Assist with basic equipment maintenance
• Work with plant operators and supervisors to support production
• Follow all safety procedures and MSHA guidelines
• Keep equipment clean and work areas organized

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating loaders or other heavy equipment
• Mining, sand, construction, or oilfield equipment experience preferred
• Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work 8-12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime
• Strong safety awareness and reliable attendance
• Experience operating loaders in gravel pits, sand operations, mining, or oilfield environments is strongly preferred.
