Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Naples, FL. You will safely operate loaders, excavators, skid steers, forklifts, and related equipment to move, load, and transport waste and recyclables across transfer stations, facilities, and landfills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of equipment safety, daily inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with teammates and leadership.
• Willingness to work outdoors in a fast-paced setting with safety as a priority.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate loaders, excavators, skid steers, forklifts, and similar equipment.
• Move, load, transport, and organize waste and recyclables for efficiency.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections and document findings.
• Identify equipment concerns and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Support site operations and safety compliance at all times.
• Coordinate with spotters and supervisors to ensure safe equipment movement.
