Job summary

Responsibilities include safely operating backhoes, excavators, bulldozers, graders, water trucks, cranes, and dump trucks, performing site work, and conducting daily equipment inspections while maintaining OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in construction/industrial settings.
• Experience with CAT and Deere equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment safety practices and job site hazards.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, bulldozers, graders, water trucks, cranes, and dump trucks.
• Perform site work including digging, grading, trenching, hauling, and material placement as directed by supervisors.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections (pre- and post-use) to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations at all times.
• Work closely with crew members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Assist with general site preparation, cleanup, and other duties as needed to support project operations.
