Job summary

The Kearney Companies in Riverview, FL is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our site and utilities crew. You will operate excavators, loaders, and dump trucks on civil construction and site development projects across the Tampa Bay area.

Qualified candidates have prior heavy equipment experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work Monday through Saturday on projects throughout Hillsborough, Hernando, Polk, Pasco, and Manatee Counties.

Qualifications

• Previous heavy equipment operating experience required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to work Monday through Saturday.
• Willing to work on projects located throughout Hillsborough, Hernando, Polk, Pasco, and Manatee Counties.
• Knowledge of earthwork, grading, site development, and utility construction preferred.
• Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and maintain equipment in a safe operating condition.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment on site development and civil projects.
• Meet production goals and project schedules while maintaining safety and quality.
• Perform pre-start inspections and routine maintenance as required.
